12 / 100 IPPRA team judgment

This is a biomedical/data-infrastructure NIH consortium focused on gastrointestinal interoception, dysmotility, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets, which is far outside IPPRA’s social-behavioral risk, policy, education, and hazard-communication lines. There is no plausible PI fit for the roster here beyond at most very distant public-health adjacency.

Description

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites new applications to participate in the Diseases of Gastrointestinal Interoception Consortium (DGIC). The overall objectives of this consortium are to: 1) identify the underlying mechanisms that link altered GI interception more directly to GI dysmotility and symptoms; 2) identify disease or response biomarkers that better assess pathophysiology or treatment efficacy; and 3) leverage state-of-the-art technologies to identify novel therapeutic targets that could be assessed in future clinical trials.
