FY 2027 Continuation of Solicitation for the Office of Science Financial Assistance Program
Funds research and related scientific work within the DOE Office of Science mission across its program areas, for eligible applicants under 10 C.F.R. part 605.
⚑ Annual open solicitation spanning multiple Office of Science program areas; applications accepted continuously until 2027-09-30 or superseding notice. · Eligibility, limitations, evaluation, and other procedures are governed by 10 C.F.R. part 605. · Award instruments may include grant, cooperative agreement, other, or procurement contract depending on program area and solicitation details.
This is a broad DOE Office of Science basic research solicitation, but the team’s strongest fit is only for the social-science side of energy-related work within Fusion Energy Sciences, nuclear energy, or environment-related public perception studies. Carol Silva, Kuhika Gupta, and Joseph Ripberger could plausibly pursue a narrowly tailored human-subjects or public-opinion project, but most of the NOFO is outside the team’s core PI program.
