OVC FY 2026 Specialized Human Trafficking Assistance: Task Forces and Legal Services
This cooperative agreement funds specialized training and capacity-building for OVC-funded anti-trafficking task forces, multidisciplinary teams, and legal service providers to improve victim identification, victim-centered investigations, and trafficking prosecutions.
⚑ Limited submission structure: only one entity may submit when multiple project partners are involved; others must be subrecipients, not co-applicants. · Nonprofit organizations that hold money in offshore accounts to avoid the federal tax described in 26 U.S.C. § 511(a) are ineligible. · Designed for OVC-funded ECM task forces/MDTs and legal service providers; not a general-purpose research grant.
This is primarily a victim-services, legal-services, and criminal-justice implementation grant for anti-trafficking task forces, not the kind of survey, risk-perception, energy/climate, education-policy, or emergency-warning research this team typically leads. The team could be tangentially relevant on evaluation or training design, but none of the named researchers has trafficking, criminal-justice service delivery, or prosecution capacity as a core line.
