OJJDP FY 2026 Juvenile Justice System Enhancements
This program funds states and localities to implement targeted juvenile justice system improvements that reduce cost drivers, improve system operations, and better youth outcomes.
⚑ Eligibility is not stated in the notice; triage should confirm whether universities may apply and whether any state/locality-only limits apply. · Program is implementation-oriented and may involve system assessments, resource prioritization, and measurable operational changes rather than hypothesis-driven research.
This is a juvenile-justice system operations/evaluation NOFO: squarely social-services/justice-adjacent applied research, but not the team’s core survey/risk/energy-weather agenda. It could fit David Hogg’s program-evaluation orientation and, more loosely, Deven Carlson’s causal policy evaluation work, but it is outside their main published lines.
