Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) Basic Research
NASA EPSCoR Basic Research funds research projects that advance NASA strategic research and technology priorities while building research infrastructure and science and technology capacity in eligible EPSCoR jurisdictions.
⚑ Eligibility is jurisdiction-based under NSF EPSCoR criteria; an individual university may apply only if it is in an eligible jurisdiction. · Cooperative agreement. · Focus is on research tied to NASA strategic priorities plus infrastructure/capacity development, not general-purpose campus support.
This is a NASA basic-research EPSCoR call centered on space, aeronautics, AI/data science, materials, and computing infrastructure, which is outside IPPRA’s behavioral survey/policy/risk-evaluation portfolio. The team could only be tangentially involved through broader impacts or stakeholder studies, not as a plausible PI-led fit.
