The primary purpose of the acquisition for the Production Assistance for Cellular Therapy (PACT) III program contract awards is to expand the scope of the program by re-introducing the manufacture and distribution of cellular products for use in human subjects participating in clinical trials under investigational new drug (IND) applications for the cell product.
