Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Battery Network (BATTNET)
This BAA funds research and development for battery network (BATTNET) efforts under individual contracts, with a total BAA ceiling of $20 million over five years.
⚑ Federal contract/BAA mechanism rather than a grant; awards are made through individual contracts, not funding issued against the BAA itself. · Five-year BAA with $20M total ceiling. · Eligibility is stated only as contract applicant restrictions; no additional set-aside or applicant-class limits are specified in the notice.
This is a defense logistics/applied R&D call on battery networks, materials, and communications infrastructure, which is far outside this team’s core social-science work on risk perception, warning communication, energy/public attitudes, and policy evaluation. At most they could be tangentially adjacent through energy-related public acceptance, but nothing here is a plausible PI-level fit for the roster.
